The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command Branches and Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation have made a $6,500 donation to the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital Foundation. This donation is supported partially through funds collected by the Hawkesbury Legion’s poppy campaign.

The funds are allocated for the purchase of a new computed tomography (CT) scanner and a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine through the Access 2018 Campaign. Once installed, the machines will be used close to 15,000 times per year and will improve access to specialized medical services for patients and their families.

The Foundation sincerely thanks the Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Provincial Command Branches and Ladies’ Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation for their contribution in bringing state-of-the art diagnostic imaging technology to our hospital.
