HGH Foundation receives a McHappy Donation

McDonald's employees hand over a big cheque to HGH Foundation representatives

HGH Foundation received a check for $3,198.00 from McDonald’s Restaurant in Hawkesbury for sales made during McHappy Day. The donation will benefit the Children’s Rehabilitation Program of Eastern Ontario.

On May 4th, a dozen volunteers from the Foundation took part in McHappy Day, an annual nationwide fundraising event during which one dollar from certain menu items go to children’s charities.

HGH Foundation received funds from McHappy Day for a third time, and sincerely thanks Louis Giguère, restaurant owner and all his staff for their contribution. A big thank you also goes to the volunteers: Jean-Paul Beaulieu, Diane Byham, Robert Byham, Diane Filion, Lorraine Larivière, Denise Parisien, Pierre Parisien, Marielle Roussel, Micheline Sauvé, Thérèse Takeda, Carole Timbers and Johanne Wilson.
