The Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) removes barriers and provides access to its facilities, programs and services for people with disabilities, according to the standards of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.

The Hospital, upon request and in consultation with the person making the request, provides or makes arrangements to provide accessible formats and communication supports for people with disabilities in accordance with AODA Integrated Standards Regulation. Accessible formats and communication supports will be provided in a timely manner, taking into account the person’s accessibility needs and at a cost that is no more than the regular cost charged to other people.
