The Crisis Team provides immediate support to people experiencing a mental health or addiction-related crisis. At times, one can feel very lonely, discouraged or anxious. We’re here to help restore your balance. We respond either by phone or we go meet you in person. You’re not alone. Our services are offered to people aged 16 and over.

Why call us?

If you or someone you know is in a situation that seems hopeless, we can help. If you feel alone, misunderstood or helpless, call us. You may even feel like you’re a danger to yourself or others. We will listen and help you. Our team members are respectful, empathetic and caring. You’re not alone!

How do we help pour clients?

The members of the Crisis Team respond to distress calls and intervene immediately to help the person struggling in a crisis situation. We also work as a team with physicians and other health-care professionals in the community. Anyone may ask for help, either for themselves or for someone they care about.

Our services include:

  • Immediate support for crisis resolution
  • Follow-up for a period of up to 35 days
  • Referrals to other health-care resources
  • Mental health and addiction education for the client and his or her family
